Erik Tønnesen has been Managing Partner since the inception of Skagerak Capital in 2006. From January 1st Erik will step down as Managing Partner, however he will continue as partner in Skagerak Capital with primary responsibility for the regional funds - both existing funds and raising new funds. Skagerak Capital will continue with a partner model with dedicated areas of responsibility for each partner, but without a Managing Partner.

Skagerak Capital manages both venture/growth funds and regional funds. The two regional funds, First:Seed fund in Hedmark Fylke and Agder Seed in Agder Fylke can, after a short time horizon, show good returns and positive socio-economic spin-offs (e.g. creation of local competence workplaces).
