Meet the team
Terje Berg-Utby joined Skagerak in 2006. His primary areas of focus are sensor technology, AI and B2B SaaS . His portfolio includes Tunable, OptoScale, Vixel, Semine, Fonn, Vilmer, Kairos, InlineX and Effera. Terje holds a PhD in Venture Capital Governance from Ind.øk. NTNU and an MSc in Engineering from NTNU/ETH Zürich
Tone is an investment analyst in Skagerak Capital, which she joined in 2020. Tone Kvåle is located at the office in Kristiansand. Prior to joining the team of Skagerak Capital, Tone was working at PwC, within management consulting. She has experience in sustainability strategies and reporting, digitalization and test management.
Andreas joined Skagerak Capital in 2016. He focuses on B2B SaaS companies, across multiple sectors. Andreas' current portfolio includes Decisions, Vixel, OptoScale, Checkin, ShiftX, Labrador CMS, VesselMan and Sharebox. Prior to joining Skagerak Capital, Andreas worked as a management consultant at EY. He also has hands-on experience from tech startups/scaleups in Norway and Silicon Valley. Andreas works on new investments, business development, internationalization and M&A.
Espen joined the VC business and Maturo Kapital in 2005. His focus has been with industrial and technological companies. Espen’s prior investments are among others 3D Perception, Abletec and Camp Supply International. Espen is a partner located in Skien and he is actively involved in new investments, business development and follow up portfolio companies.
Erik is a partner of Skagerak Capital and leads the regional funds. His primary focus areas are industrial IT and cleantech. Erik's current portfolio includes Skandia Green Power and Effera, and holds several active board seats within Skagerak’s portfolio.
Benedicte is responsible for digital marketing at Skagerak Capital. She joined the team in Feburary 2021 and is located at our Kristiansand office. She brings experience to the team having spent most of her professional career working with early stage tech companies through various positions in Norselab, Norse Digital, and at Nordic Innovation House in Silicon Valley.
André joined Skagerak in 2007 and has extensive transaction experience within venture. He is hands-on in the active ownership of the portefolio currently with eight active board seats within Skagerak’s SaaS portefolio. André has experience as a CFO in scaleup/growth within education and has also worked as a Financial Analyst in the shipping industry.
Endre joined the Skagerak Capital team in 2019. His primary areas of experience and expertise is within renewable energy technology and IT software solutions in digitalization and business development. His prior investments are among others Solibro/Q-cells, WindSim, 1881, Hydra Tidal, LingIT and SiPro. Endre is investment manager for the First:Seed fund and located in Hamar.
Trym co-founded Skagerak Capital in 2006. His primary focus areas are enabling technologies within the energy value chain as well as the digitalization process in different industries. His prior investments are among others Presens, Ufis Airport Solutions, Wellquip and Numo Mobile Solutions. Trym is located in Oslo. His focus is to follow up new investments within his skills domain.
